About

Cook’s Wastepaper & Recycling is a long-standing waste collection and recycling provider serving communities in eastern South Dakota. Founded in 1969, the company has spent over five decades offering reliable sanitation services to residents, businesses, schools, and institutions in counties including Brookings, Clark, Codington, Deuel, Hamlin, Kingsbury, Lake, and Moody. As a locally focused provider, Cook’s Waste offers a wide range of waste management solutions tailored to the needs of both residential and commercial customers. Residential services include regular garbage collection, recycling pickup where available, and yard waste handling in designated areas. Commercial services extend to a variety of dumpster sizes, roll-off containers, compactor options, and single-stream recycling containers, supporting local industries, retail facilities, and institutional clients with flexible waste handling solutions. In addition to collection services, the company operates a recycling center to support its commitment to environmental stewardship. Its roll-off and dumpster operations help accommodate construction, demolition, and larger-scale waste needs, while commercial pick-up schedules can be customized to meet higher frequency demands. Customer service, safety, and integrity are central to the company’s operations. Cook’s Waste emphasizes courteous, dependable service and maintains safety protocols to protect its employees and the communities it serves. The business has grown steadily since its founding and continues to be a key provider of essential sanitation infrastructure across its service region.
